Leopard attacks: two mauled in separate incidents

Bahraich:In yet another instance of man-animal conflict, two persons were left injured in separate incidents of leopard attack in Katarniaghat wild life sanctuary here, official sources said today.

Ashish Singh (28), a contractor, was injured when a leopard attacked him while he was returning from a construction site yesterday, Forest officer RK Singh said.

In a separate incident on Tuesday night, a villager Janardan (25) was attacked by a leopard in Nishanagarh range, injuring him.

Both the injured men were stated to be out of danger.
