Six criminals with fire arms held

Nawada:Police arrested six dreaded criminals and seized fire arms from them in Bihar''s Nawada district.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided Benipur village under Rupau police station last night and arrested them when they were planning to commit a crime, Superintendent of Police (Nawada) Surendra Lal Das said today.

A country-made rifle, a country-made carbine, three pistols and a dozen live cartridges were seized from them, he said.

They were wanted in connection with several criminal cases.
