Former Australian pacer Geoff Lawson feels Ricky Ponting is self-indulgent and says the batsman should have announced his retirement from after the Adelaide Test against India last month.
Ponting on Tuesday said he would continue to play Test cricket despite being dropped from Australia’s one-day side.
