Burglars kill two of a family in Lucknow

Lucknow:Two elderly women were strangled to death by unidentified persons in a suspected case of burglary in Ghazipur area here, police said.

The robbers sneaked into a house yesterday and killed Sarla Srivastava (60) and her sister-in-law Dev Chand Srivastava (65) when they were alone in their Rabindrapalli residence, they said.

Prima facie robbery seems to be the motive behind the double murder, police added.
