ITBP jawan dies after slipping on snow

Gopeshwar:An ITBP jawan was killed after he slipped on snow and fell during patrol duty in Lapthal area of Chamoli district, police said today.

Kamal Kishore, 26, was walking on snow while patrolling the area when he slipped and fell on Sunday.

He was rescued by his colleagues but sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital yesterday in nearby Joshimath town where he was declared brought dead.
