Four held for kidnap of minor boy

Bhopal:Four persons have been arrested in connection with abduction of an industrialist''s son here three days ago, police said today.

Manish Chaurasia (32), Pramod Kumar, Rakesh and Bhura were arrested by police yesterday for abducting the 14-year-old son of a Arera Colony-based industrialist in the city, they said.

They said Manish who was the main conspirator had worked as the security supervisor with the industrialist for last 15 years.

Manish along with three accomplices kidnapped the boy on February 13 when he was returning home and released him in five hours after getting a ransom of Rs six lakh and some gold jewellery from his parents, police said.

The police also recovered the ransom amount and jewellery from their possession, they said.
